Kucinich Bill to Impeach Cheney
The North Dakota Peace Coalition has voted to support Rep. Dennis Kucinich's impeachment request, House Resolution H. Res. 333, to impeach Richard B. Cheney, Vice President of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors. We urge those of you of same mind to contact Rep. Earl Pomeroy, urging him to support this courageous resolution and to let him know we will back him in his stand for justice (D.C.# 202-225-2611...send email at www.pomeroy.house.gov).

Stop the Development of Nuclear Weapons
From the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL)
Senator Byron Dorgan can help stop the Bush administration's plan to develop new nuclear bombs. At the same time that the administration is condemning nuclear programs in Iran and North Korea, it is proposing to rebuild the U.S. nuclear weapons arsenal, potentially reigniting a nuclear arms race.
The administration plan would produce a new nuclear weapon called the Reliable Replacement Warhead (RRW), the first new warhead to be developed by the U.S. in two decades. Instead of focusing on post-Cold War reductions of the nuclear weapons stockpile, as the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty calls for, the U.S. is developing new nuclear warheads at the total cost of billions of taxpayer dollars.
But Sen. Dorgan, as chair of the powerful Senate Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee, the panel that controls nuclear weapons spending, can put a halt to RRW.

Launched in February '07 by General Wesley Clark and VoteVets.org, StopIranWar.com hosts a petition to President Bush, a video blog, and tools to spread the word.
Military Personnel Speak Out
“An Appeal for Redress from the War in Iraq” is an online petition active duty, reserve, and guard service members can sign to urge Congress to end the US military occupation of Iraq:
As a patriotic American proud to serve the nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to support the prompt withdrawal of all American military forces and bases from Iraq . Staying in Iraq will not work and is not worth the price. It is time for U.S. troops to come home.
