Regarding this highly troubling issue, the North Dakota Council on Abused Women's Services has asked for help from peace friends across the state. CAWS has provided a statement, talking points, and some background on the issue.
Though the book and special have been canceled, Tessa Sicble of ND CAWS urges us to continue voicing our outrage: “Please protest this book. Please continue to call the book outlets that will carry the book and simply not buy it. It is encouraging to know that ND was the first state to pull the interview from Fox. A phone call really does help.”
