Chuck Suchy's Testimony in Support of SCR 4022
My name is Chuck Suchy and I live in Morton County, south of Mandan. I'm here to voice my support of SCR 4022. My wife Linda and I were not in favor of our country's entry into this war and have been continually horrified and deeply saddened by the tragic chain of events and the effect of the war on our country.
I live in a neighborhood of salt-of-the-earth, common sense folks and am heartened by the growing number of them who feel as I do concerning this war - that it is senseless to spend our precious resources of money and especially our soldiers on such an ill-founded venture. I know many who felt from the beginning that the war was a mistake but were fearful that offering opposition to the war meant opposition to our troops and country.
I have sent money to an organization which supplies soldiers with more effective helmet liners which allow more comfort and safety to the wearer. I now am grateful for the privilege of supporting those soldiers with words of hope that you will vote a do-pass on SCR 4022.
